Non-smoking, mature, experienced, responsible sitter wanted to care for one healthy cat and some plants for 3 weeks.
Ginger is shy and independent, but will warm up to you once you gain her trust. She is healthy and takes no medication.
We live in an upscale over-55 community park (our 5 year old, 3bed/2bath home is 1352SF, has 9 ft. ceilings, granite counters,etc.) that features a pool, lovely lakes and walking paths with mature landscaping.
Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, movie theater, brewery, coffee houses, Saturday Farmers Market, library, and more within easy walking distance!
The home is neat/clean, smoke-free and comfortable with a back deck, side patio, gas grill and private hot tub. The area is safe and very quiet.
The home features a gas stove, microwave, 42" flat screen with Roku, Netflix, Paramount Plus, HBO Max, Hulu and AMZ Prime streaming. Our internet speeds are top tier.
The guest room has a super comfy Queen bed with Pottery Barn bedding and high thread-count sheets. The closet and nightstand have plenty of space for your clothes/luggage.
Our community is just a mile off Hwy. 17--close to redwoods and the beach!
It's a 7 minute drive to the charming mountain community of Felton (health food store, coffee house, bakery, shops, microbrewery, pizza, etc.), a 10-15 minute drive to Santa Cruz (plenty to explore!) and 20 minutes to Los Gatos (terrific strolling, fine dining, shopping). It's an hour's drive to Monterey/Carmel.
Nearby are Henry Cowell, Big Basin, Nisene Marks and Wilder Ranch State Parks -- all offer outstanding hiking trails. You may use our Park Pass!
Ideally we are looking for a sitter(s) who is 50+ years old....and LOVES cats.(-:
