Escape the winter cold and stay in sunny Florida!
Who wants to escape cold weather for a 6+ month stay in Central Florida this winter? My husband and I have 3 miniature schnauzers ranging from 4 to 14 years of age. We live in a condominium along the east coast of Central Florida where you can watch Kennedy Space Center rocket launches from our home.
Our community has a club house, pool, hot tub, pickle ball and tennis courts, with a county park across the street and several memorial parks to the US Space Program nearby. Water sports and beaches are not far away. Our dogs will need their normal daily care, as well as a monthly trip to the groomer. We can provide a monthly housecleaning service, but request you water our patio plants to keep them thriving, and manage any problems that may crop up during your stay.
The condo includes large living room, 3 bedrooms, large eat-in kitchen, fully furnished laundry, and outdoor grill. The community is gated, and the Garage and building are secure. Enjoy basking in the sun by the pool, playing tennis or pickleball, using the clubhouse workout room, walking through the park, going to the beach or reading a book on the patio overlooking the river and watching dolphins. Use of a car is negotiable.
We are looking for Covid-19 vaccinated, non-smoking house/petsitters. We need you to feed, walk and spoil our 3 darling, rescued miniature schnauzers. Administer their medications or supplements as needed. Specific information for each pet is provided in advance. Take them to their Melbourne groomer monthly. Water patio plants. Adhere to the community guidelines, notify management of issues, and be a good neighbor especially to those residing in the same building. Keep the home neat and tidy; a monthly cleaning service will be provided.
Operate storm shutters to protect patio contents as needed. (Remember...Hurricane Season is from June 1 through November 30 in Florida.) Be prepared to evacuate with the dogs in the event of an extreme weather event, which is rare. Detailed information is provided in the petsitting book maintained in the home. Highspeed WiFI and Cable TV service are also provided. Sound appealing?
