Our home
Our beautiful home is surrounded by trees and gardens and is tucked into one of Portland's oldest best neighborhoods - Irvington. We are in walking distance to amazing shops, restaurants and bars in the Alberta Arts neighborhood, Mississipi, N Williams, NE Broadway and NE Fremont. We are one short block from a huge park and situated right along a pedestrian walkway.
The house itself has 4 bedrooms (one of which is set up as an office with a pull out sofa), 3 bathrooms, a finished basement with a home-made home theatre and a home gym (like Peloton? we've got one). There is a climbing wall across from the stairway, fire pits in the front and back sitting areas and the aforementioned hot tub. We love our home - built it ourselves as well as a lot of the furniture inside and have lived here for 22 years. We have two teenagers with very teenagery rooms and a primary bedroom with a beautiful new bed, trees outside of every window and an ensuite bathroom.
Our pets
Pepper and Birch are instagram cover models, best friends, and total cuddle bunnies. Birch is an older girl who needs a bit of help getting down the stairs and gets tired after a few turns around the block. Pepper is much more lively (she hops like a kangaroo when she's hungry and can run 10 miles without stopping). They are used to people cuddling with them all the time but don't always get a ton of excercise. Our cat, Puck, is outdoors only and has an automatic feeder. He is super old but has a ton of personality. There are plants throughout the inside of the house and plantings in the front and back yard that need regular watering. And the house gets lonely when we are gone. We are looking for someone to move in and enjoy it like we do. You must be an experienced dog owner and lover - two dogs can feel like 10 dogs for a novice - and ideally you know enough about pit bulls to know how to snuggle with them just right (they like to be tucked in with blankets and share the bed).
