We are looking for a sitter to look after our 9 year old dog, Buster, a Malteze Shitzu, walking every day if possible, a small worm farm and to look after our house in the Byron Hinterland. Buster I am sorry to say is not good with young kids and never has been, though he is such an easy going dog in every other way? He will sulk for a short period, but becomes your best friend in no time. This will not suit someone with children as well Buster is not used to be left of long periods of time. The pool will need to be cleaned if it gets windy, and toped up with water. The garden may also need a little bit of watering, depending on how dry and hot the weather is and doing some mowing around the house, we do have a bore though it is a little complicated to manage and only have tank water for the house which is filtered, I do have lots of house plants that will need to be watered. We are about 10 minutes drive out of Byron Bay so it will be necessary you have a car. The house has beautiful views of the hinterland and ocean glimpses, is north facing so captures all the sun and being on a hill most days we get lovely breezes. Relax on the deck, swim in the pool though it is cold this time of year or visit the beautiful beaches in the area. It is a very peaceful and relaxing piece of paradise. There is reverse cycle air-conditioning and a log fire burner to keep you warm. As it is the time of COVID there may of course need to be some flexibility on timing and duration of our time away. We will be in New Zealand and so are trusting that the borders stay open and there's no delays in our return.
