We are looking for someone to stay in our house in Colorado Springs from about mid June 5 - early August (dates have a little flexibility). We've got two cats that get fed twice a day, and a bunch of potted plants that get watered about every other day.
Our house has beautiful views and a fairly private back yard. Mule deer, humming birds, and rabbits are all over, and you might see a bobcat or coyote. We're a 3 min walk from Ute Valley Park and 2 miles north of Garden of the Gods Park and Red Rocks Canyon. This area is known for its hiking and biking. We're also just over a mile from a grocery store and library, and 10 min from a Costco and major college campus so you're not at all isolated.
The house itself is about 3000 sqft with bedrooms upstairs and plenty of room to relax or work on the first floor or the bright walk-out basement.
I'm looking for a sitter(s) who will enjoy the area, cat, and house without adding stress to our lives. In my dreams, you'd be willing to let us use your car in the Washington DC / mid-Atlantic region while you enjoy our house and car here. (It's a stretch, but I figured I'd ask!). Our dates are not yet firm, but if you are interested, please reach out. We've done this for several years now and I know that things tend to run more smoothly with more lead time.
