Hi there! My wife, son, and I are regular users of HOUSECARERS, and we need preferably ONE (possibly TWO) reliable, dog-caring house sitter(s) for our home, a beautiful 1950s 3 bedroom private house in the hills Echo Park ), near downtown LA. From Tuesday August 13 - Sunday Auusgist 21, 9 days.
The House has terraced gardens, wireless internet, washer-dryer, ROKU tv, and a beautiful 270 degree view of LA.
Our 7 year old, 90 pound, and friendly dog, Cassius, needs someone to pay attention to him, walk him in wonderful nearby Elysian Park once a day (more if possible), and not be working 9-5. He can be left alone for 3-4 hours. He barks at strangers at our gate, but never bites. He can be "bribed" with dog treats and be very sweet, calm and loveable, once he gets to know you. He can go in a car, behave in groups, and walk off leash.
We also need housesitter to water our plants and keep them happy.
A great situation for the right person: quiet, responsible, a homebody. Need car for steep hill (Possibly borrow ours for the neighborhood only.)
We would want to meet the potential Sitter ASAP at our home & if possible, to stay with us a night to "test sit" Cassius. Then, on April August 13, to stay with us, while we're still in town, to get Cassius acquainted with you, and to have you learn Cassius’ Feeding & Walking patterns, and so both of you feel comfortable with each other. We leave Monday morning August 14.
