We are Steve & Annie and are looking for a couple (ideally) to provide cat, chicken and house care whilst we are away for approx 4 weeks in Greece.
Pets:
Zeus is a 3 year old Bombay-Persian. He has daytime access trough a timed flap to the garden and outside. He is big and healthy. Friendly and will sometime sit on your lap, but often nearby when he is in.
Chickens: 2 egg lying hens with light sensitive door for open/closing so just need 5-10 mins attention per day
House:
The original part of our 4 bedroom house is part of a 16th century farmhouse. We have a large garden with a pond and orchard area. Mostly oversight and little maintenance required during the sit. There is a robot mower and auto watering system to monitor.
We have bikes you can use but the village is 6 miles from the centre of York and 3 miles from the nearest shops so you will probably want a car. There is also an indoor gym in converted stables in the garden
The Sit:
We have lots of experience of house swaps and have house sat ourselves in the past. This is the 4th time finding a sitter on this site.
Ideally we are looking for somebody for the full period.
