My husband and I recently finished a 7-week housesit for Grace and Brian at their large, comfortable home in the Las Campanas community in Santa Fe. We enjoyed our time there for many reasons. Grace and Brian made us feel very comfortable, were easy (and quick) to communicate with, and were very generous in letting us use their car.

Their home, which has a terrific, and very private view, is super comfortable with the steady warmth of underfloor heating.  We were there in the winter and truly appreciated that aspect. The house is designed to be comfortable in the summer, too, with its deep, large porch.

Yet, the true treasures of their home are four-legged. Pandora and Percy, the cats, and Spencer, the poodle, are all loveable and loving in their own way. Their common trait, though, is having their people nearby. Evenings in the media room were filled with each one vying to be close by or sitting on our laps. Delightful! Pandora and Percy appreciate any attention (and will reciprocate) and Spencer is gung-ho for walks in the neighborhood as well as hikes on the nearby trails. Just bring enough water for everyone!

Santa Fe was delightful as well. It was our first time there, so we enjoyed the many high-quality museums, abundance of hiking trails, and learning about the nearby ancient pueblo dwellings and the history of Los Alamos. I even had enough time to take a short weaving class.

Brian and Grace were excellent hosts.  Their dog and cats stole my heart.  The home is gorgeous and I also fell in love with New Mexico while there.

Beautiful surroundings, loving and gentle pets. Spencer, Pheonix and Pandora were great companions. Grace and Brian are kind, organized hosts. They were generous with their knowledge and suggestions for the area. My first house sit on this site, so positive I am trying to venture out more.

Grace and Brian's residence in Santa Fe truly captured our attention from the outset. While our usual preference leans towards month-long house sits, the pictures of their property convinced us to book a shorter, 2-week stay. And we were very happier about that decision. The architecture and panoramic views from all angles of the house were genuinely commendable, reminiscent of a premium AirBnB listing.

Situated in a gated community, the house provides the perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility. Despite its remote surroundings, it's just a short drive to downtown Santa Fe.

Our stay was further enhanced by the delightful pets we had the pleasure of caring for. Spencer, the standard poodle, is a sheer joy, always eager to play fetch and be a comforting presence. The feline duo added their own unique charm – Pandora, the affectionate Ragdoll, who'd just melt into your arms, and Percy, the quirky Maine Coon with his endearing antics and love for cuddles.

One of the unique experiences of the house's location, especially for someone from the East Coast like myself, was hearing the coyote packs in the evenings. Although it made nighttime walks with Spencer a tad more adventurous, it was truly an experience to remember.

Last, but certainly not least, working with Grace and Brian was smooth and straightforward. Their clear instructions made our stay hassle-free, and they were always available for any questions. We would gladly house sit for them again and recommend their home to fellow sitters.

It was such a relaxing and pleasant stay in Sante Fe. The pets are just wonderful and so affectionate and easy. The home is beautiful and the hosts were so generous and gracious. We do not have one complaint or suggestions. However, we really do miss their dog and 2 cats.

My wife and I stayed at Grace and Brian's beautiful home over the week of Christmas. Their dog and two cats were very delightful, fun, well behaved, and cute as could be. All three animals stayed in the same rooms with us and loved our company as well as we did theirs. I took Spencer for long walks and Cindy played with Pandora and Phoenix. The three loving animals touched our hearts.

Spending Christmas with pets, a Christmas tree, a fireplace on the veranda, and grilling created a special holiday for us. I would highly recommend staying at their great home.
