Hi to everyone!
We are a married couple, 33 and 35 years old with no kids and looking for some housesitter(s) for our house where we live with our friendly dog - Dogo Argentino called Floey, snake, two spiders, and lizard. :)
Our dog lady is 8 years old and she really loves humans. She lives with us at home, loves cuddling, and spends her time with people. She doesn't need any special care, she can be at home during standard work hours - from 7 am to 3 pm, plus-minus, but we'll be happy for a housesitter(s) who love dogs and will be with her at home, will take her for some trips and don't let her alone whole the day. She is
still a crazy puppy. In her head :) so, sometimes it’s harder with
her. She is strong and hard-headed. Difficult combination :) But she
loves people. Unfortunately, she doesn’t like other animals, so one
must keep it in mind and be careful. She lives at home with us and she
loves warmth. So, in autumn and winter, she spends at home most of her
time.
Lizard need feed every evening. Snake and spiders are unassuming. They need to take care of their water and feed max one per week.
House with a garden is located in a small village near nice historical city Melnik - 5 km. A little further, about 20 minutes drive by car, is the capital city of the Czech republic, Prague.
In our village, we have almost everything you need - shop, post office, bus station and nature with a bicycle path by the river, where you can take a walk, run, etc. It's a quiet neighborhood with a good connection to the city and the capital city.
We also have a car, so if you have a driving license, you can use that.
The house is heated by wood. We have stock here, so one has to just
bring it at home and then can heat it. It’s a little bit harder work
but nothing horrible. The view of the fireplace is a good reward. :)
We need some responsible housesitter(s) who can take care of the house - we heat mostly with wood. It's really romantic in winter, but also harder work, so consider whether you are okay with that.
Our dog has a big heart, but she is also big physically - 43 kgs. She loves people, but she doesn't like other animals. Because of that, you can't come with your own animals and during your stay, you must be careful about other animals inside the house, and everywhere outside. Dogo Argentino has a strong hunting instinct. But if you count on it, it's not such a big problem.
