We live in on a 170 acre farm in the southwest of WA close to two large country cities with hospital and technical college.
I have to go in for overnight stay in hospital (foot operation) then back home for 8 weeks. So we will be still living here in our home. My husband carts cattle and mows lawns as well as we care for our farm animals. At the moment includes 13 abandoned lambs which need to be fed twice a day if he is not home before dark. You will be staying in the home with us in your own room, your own toilet and bathroom facilities at the other end of the house. You will not need to help with the horses, cattle or sheep if you do not wish to as my husband usually does that anyway. I will not be able to feed or go anywhere near my large dogs or cats for at least 6 weeks due to the time of operation.. non weight bearing. So you would need to clean up the dogs' poo in their area and the cats' litter tray in the garage in the morning. No cooking is required but I would appreciate the sweeping and some housework during your stay as I can't do that either. You don't have to stay here all day but you have a bed here and food here too. As long as you are back in time for the feeding of the animals.
