Trusty and caring companion/servant needed for Twinkle-cat from 9th-17th May 2022.
We live in a small hamlet quite near Bagnoles de l'Orne, in a very old house, which is comfortable but a bit ramshackle in places. It's a lovely area and there's plenty to go and look at, or you can just while away your time lolling on the terrace reading or whatever.
I don't leave Twinkle alone overnight so need someone (single or couple) to come and stay with her. She needs feeding fairly regularly throughout the day. She stays in overnight, is very cute and really sweet natured, though likes to play at biting and chewing hands and will claim starvation within 2 minutes of her last mouthful. (She was literally starving to death when she arrived so is, understandably, a little obsessed with food.)
The house has all amenities including wifi, UK TV, dishwasher, etc. but is very old and generally quite fragile with a few idioscyncracies. Ideally I'd want someone to come a day early (9th as I'm leaving on 10th) to get used to things but that's tricky as there is only one bedroom (with ensuite) and a double bed on the mezzanine. So you would probably have to have other accommodation in the area (I can provide contacts). We can discuss anyway.
You will need your own transport as there is no public transport around here.
From a Covid perspective, (sorry - strange times!) I would want to know where you've been and to see vaccine passport. Preferably also a very recent negative test result (I'll be visiting my old mum and need to be sure I'm safe for her).
