Can get below zero for a few days per year. Yellowstone, South Dakota Black Hills and many other tour locations within couple hours drive. Historic towns of Sheridan and Buffalo within 15 miles.
Log sided home fully furnished. Twenty four hundred square feet with three garages. Propane heat with propane fireplace, generator, wood/carpet floors, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, dining room, living room, loft area with an office area, living room and bathroom. Deck with grill and seating. Fire pit for use when fire ban is not on. Sits on over an acre of land in the heart of Story. Walking distance to general store, library, women's club and post office.
Costs/responsibilities for house sitter: Mow lawn with furnished lawn mower (if needed), maintain house in immaculate condition to include cleaning. Pay part of propane above normal cost and fill upon leaving normally about ($ /winter), electricity, cable/tv/internet costs, snow removal if needed. Cell service is great as tower is within sight. Internet is high speed and pretty reliable if you want to work from home. Deposit required. No pets, No smoking or drugs. Available late September 2023 to mid May 2024.
