House sitter(s) who love cats needed for 5 weeks, March 24 - May 1. You are welcome to arrive earlier and/or stay later if it helps your travel plans.
Our 3-bedroom 3-bath home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac convenient to all North Conway area attractions. For outdoor enthusiasts, there will be spring skiing and snowshoeing for at least the first part of the sit. There are six alpine areas and 4 Nordic centers within 30 minutes of the house as well as trails in the nearby White Mountain National Forest. Of course, you can also relax by the fire and watch spring arrive. The area features many restaurants, bars with live music, theater, well-known musicians at Stone Mountain Arts Center and tax-free outlet shopping. You will need a car to get around as there is no public transportation except taxis and long-distance buses. Portland, ME is a 1-hr drive, and Portsmouth, NH is 2 hours.
Our home has wireless internet, garage parking, modern appliances, A/C, 65" 3D TV with multiple streaming services, gas fireplace, sun room, screen porch (cats love this) and outdoor spa. There is no land line.
Our cats require feeding, litter box care, sufficient caution to keep them in the house and a bit of your daily adoration. One (Rose) gets a pill every other day. If needed, a tech from our local veterinarian's office will come to the house to help you learn to do this. We ask that you also keep the house clean, clear snow from the front porch if needed and water the indoor plants.
