HELP, my fabulous house/pet carer is "indisposed" and had to cancel and we're deperately seeking sitter so that I can see my family. Hi there: I'm a semi-retired theater professional/writer/consultant who adores my Blue BoHo Bungalow located just over 2 miles from beaches. All of which I share with my gorgeous, lovable Belgian Mix, Xita ("Zita"). My tree covered renovated Mstr with offc/guest room +1 bath and laundry sunroom bungalow with partially fenced yard. A little over a year ago I re-patriated after living 7 years in Mexico (hence unique decor and a bi-lingual furry companion) and bought the bungalow just six months ago. You can enjoy new appliances (including laundry), a monitored security system, festive BoHo Chicana decor, comfy beds and wifi, which make this home perfect for artists, writers, researchers and at-home entrepenuers - who seek laid-back quietude, and a great climate. :Mama" Xita is 70 pounds of sweetness who is known to offer goofy smile in exchange for tummy rubs. She requests a responsible, dog loving, care-taker to cuddle, walk and keep her safe from brooms and other long-handled objects (a childhood trauma, if possible, treat her to sight seeing rides.
You'll be provided with emergency numbers and house info, of course.
Other than Xita’s needs, keeping things tidy and some watering of indoor plants, sitters are free to enjoy exploring, painting, writing, composing, studying, taking great photos - whatever gives you joy. I ask that day trips are no longer than 5 hours in a stretch please so Xita isn't trapped inside for too long or left alone too regularly. I've been a professional pet and house sitter and look for the same kind of care and conscientiousness I'd give. This means I celebrate coming home to a very happy pup and a house that looks the same as when I left it.
