Family seeks a responsible, mature single/couple to care for our home and two dogs this summer between August 1st and August 14th.
Our three-bedroom Richmond home is located in the area of Steveston - a quaint, historic fishing village at the mouth of the Fraser River. Steveston boasts a wide range of shopping, amenities and attractions that make it one of Greater Vancouver's most desirable places to reside in and visit. Our neighbourhood is safe, friendly, and accessible to nearby malls, restaurants, parks, scenic walks, public transportation and entertainment. Vancouver is a mere 12-minute drive north, while the U.S. International Border is just a 20-minute drive south.
Our two lovely four-legged boys are eager to provide and receive much warmth and companionship. Donner, a eight year old Aussie Shepherd and Pollo, a six year old Border Collie, are best buddies and lovable pets. They love to walk, run, swim, hike, chase balls and sticks and snag frisbees mid-air. They are sure to bring much joy to their summer care provider(s).
Our dogs are accustomed to having someone around much of the day, though they are essentially pretty low-maintenance outside of their daily walks. The ideal sitter would be one who would be able to spend a significant amount of time around the house, rather than leave the dogs alone for long spells during the day. The boys also enjoy car outings and would be happy to join you on a wide assortment of outdoor adventures and activities available in the surrounding area.
We have a lawn that will need an occasional mow and garden beds that may require a small amount of weeding – though nothing too much.
In addition to some wonderful canine company, you’ll find our home comfortable and cozy. Summer evenings and BBQ’s on the deck should enhance your stay.
