We are looking for house, dog and BnB sitters for 7weeks starting approximately May 15. We haven't booked yet so are flexible on exact dates.
We have a 2 storey house on 2.5 acres of seaside land on the island of Langkawi in Malaysia. The house is very open plan so cannot be left unattended for long periods of time. We're looking for a non-smoking couple who could look after the house, garden and 2 dogs. We will supply a car and a cleaner for the house. Garden work includes leaf collection, lawn mowing, picking up fallen branches and palm fronds. The dogs are fed and walked twice a day.
The house has two bedrooms and a ground floor pool which is contained under the roof. It's more a chilling out pool than a swimming pool but does have an infinity edge facing the sea. It's a fusion Malay-western design so has a concrete main floor but wooden upper floor with coloured glass windows. There are beautiful views of the Andaman sea and good breezes to keep the house cool. We can send pictures if you are interested.
The gardening mostly consists of leaf gathering, composting, lawn mowing and some watering. If it rains there’s very little watering. It is a large property though so you should be prepared to do something every day in the garden.
we have 2 dogs, HobNob, who is 5 and a medium sized dog and BD who is a small younger (about 1) rescue dog. We walk them twice a days and do some ball throwing inbetween.
There are many activities in Langakawi- golf, kayak, bicycle, beach or swimming -whatever interests you. The island is not big but has excellent infrastructure-good roads, mains water, good electrical service, internet. There's a well-developed tourist area with many excellent restaurants. Certainly there's enough to keep you busy!

Oh-a word about us- D is a retired Royal Navy Officer and L is a retired lawyer. We originally sailed into Langkawi on our catamaran but liked it so much we bought some land a built a house.
