Hi, I am Capucine helping my dad who lives in beautiful Normandy to find a house and pet sitter as for the first time in 7years he will be visiting us in Napa, California.
The House was built in the 14th century in the traditional way, it was restored completely and equipped with all modern amenities.
It has so much charm, and is a beautiful and huge property with amazing flowers and trees all planted by my father.
The kitchen and living areas are very big and comfortable. It has three bedrooms, and two bathrooms, as well as a nice mezzanine and reading area.
There is a laundry room and walk- in closet.
My dad has a cat, cute black and white lady kitty named Click. She is a very shy cat that eats and sleeps inside the house. She is very close to my dad but she is very shy with other people. We would love to find someone who respects that and understand that as well.
Click has her own kitty door that she uses throughout the day but she is to be kept inside at night to keep her safe.
She has certain eating habits that we can talk about but are easy to care for.
My dad also has a bird, who is free to roam in the kitchen and has an open "cage" that he uses has its house. The bird isn't shy at all and is very funny, he especially likes to be talked to.
Bird and Cat get along very well.
The countryside is very relaxing. The house is located on the outside of the village near a forest. It isn't unusual to see deers and other wildlife in the morning and evening. You can enjoy some relaxing time and just take the car to go for a nice lunch in the nearby towns of Bagnole de l'Orne or La Ferte Mace.
There are many villages that are ranked on the top 10 as the most beautiful of France, nearby, lots of castles and manoir to visit as well as farms, and Calvados tasting.
If you'd like to go for a day trip less than two hours away there is Saint Malo, Le Mont Saint Michel and many towns by the see as well as all the D- Day beaches and cemetery...
A big screen tv, a fully equipped kitchen with professional stove and ovens, bicycles, books, etc
Again there is many things to discover as the region is rich in history, with many museum about middle age, WWII...
It is Normandy so lots of culinary discoveries, cultural as well.
You are close by lots of beautiful cities like Laval, Caen, Saint Malo, Le Mont Saint Michel...
Very close to the sea and all the the D Day beaches...
