We are looking for a housesitter, non-smoker, single woman or couple prefered, but we are open.
This sit is looking after our 3 cats, and watering the plants at our 1500 SF condo in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
We are situated on a hill almost in city center, just 10 minutes away from the largest shopping mall in KL, 10 minutes away from Sentral Station (the main train and LRT station, buses and fast rail to airports) yet where we are is quiet and peaceful and surrounded by greenery.
Next door is one of the largest and most beautifully designed Chinese Temples in Malaysia.
There is high speed wifi, gas hot water on demand, washer/dryer, dishwasher, 55 inch TV with Netflix (no cable), and fully equipped kitchen with home espresso machine, although there are wonderful and cheap eating places (Chinese, Indian, and Malay) within a 10 minute walk.
The house has aircon in every room, but is so cool and breezy that it is rarely needed.
The view from the living area and balcony is of green trees, hills in the distance, and you can see the city skyline including the famous Petronas Twin Towers. It is a lovely view, day or night.
A 100 USD deposit is required, but returned fully providing there are no damages. (Damages of course only being something major caused through direct negligence, not normal wear and tear or broken dishes..;)
We do not have a loaner vehicle, however getting transport is easy, as Grabcar comes up the hill and cost is around RM5-RM7 to get to Sentral area where you can take LRT or Kommuter just about anywhere you need to go. A small transport stipend is included with the sit.
We would want you to come a few days earlier just to let the cats get used to you and to give you "the lay of the land" so you feel comfortable and can be all settled in by the time we leave.

PS- We have had two house/cat sitters from this site so far, and both were simply awesome! They loved the cats, the cats loved them, and the plants were all alive and thriving (except for one...it happens..not everyone has a green thumb ;) so we are confident we can find another on this site for this trip. :)
