We are located in the heart of the Chequamegon Nicolette National Forest in Northwest Wisconsin on a lake of 157 acres. The nearest town of 3,000 is 34 miles away. A smaller town is 17 miles away. Fall in the Northwoods is glorious. Lovely weather and trees showing off their glorious colors of the fall.
Our small village of Clam Lake has 2 bar/restaurants, very well stocked convenience store and service station, and post office. Natural History Museum, churches, groceries, library - 17 miles.
Many hiking and mountain bike trails in a 40 mile radius and beyond. Area made for outdoor enthusiasts. Four golf courses as close as seven miles and within 30 miles. Numerous fall festivals.
Lovely home on the lake. Two bedrooms, three bathrooms, loft office. DSL, WIFI, Cable Tv with streaming apps. We pay utilities. We have references from former Housecarer sitter.
A pontoon boat is available and a pedal boat. Nice lake for kayaking. Fishing on the lake. Trout fishing in many near by rivers.
A two year old 100# Bernese Mountain Dog. He does like his walks but we have a virtual fence so he can be outdoors on his own. Our two cats are strictly indoor cats. We do keep bird feeders full for those who make the trees their home.
