Hi- If you are a fan of the desert, mountain views and happy, loving Weimaraners, a visit & stay at our home may be something you might be interested in. We travel quite frequently and our very friendly “Grey Ghosts” (Weimaraners) enjoy, and are in need of, human companionship while we are away.
A little bit about our home: The house is situated in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains with backyard views of the mountain peaks and “peak-a-boo” vistas of the Tucson Valley from the front of the house. Mehl Park with several large, cut grass fields & a dedicated dog park are short a 5 minute walk down the street & as well, there is an “off leash” hike in the foothills is a less than 5 minute drive away up the hill.
Our property encompasses a 3 acre parcel with approximately 1 1/4 acres completely fenced and gated. The backyard is very private with an approximate 6' adobe wall surrounding a landscaped pool deck with hot tub, fountain and covered patio.
The home is a ranch style, white adobe that has been remodeled and added onto over the years in a tasteful blend of traditional and contemporary styles. The "under-roof" area encompasses 3500 sq. ft. and has 3 full bedrooms, one of which is the master, another a guest master with ensuite full-bathroom and another guest room with adjacent hallway guest bath. A 4th room is set up as a combination office and gym. The home is an open plan with high ceilings. The entry, with clerestory windows, formal dining & formal living encompass one large area and the kitchen, eating nook and family room/TV room encompass another adjacent large area. The guest bedrooms, laundry and guest baths are down a corridor on one side of the home & the master bedroom on the other of the home. If pictures are not yet posted, I will post some shortly.
Lexi is our 9 month old Weimaraner and while can be energetic is well behaved. She adores her "older brother" Cody, our 11 year old Weimaraner. Both are in good health although Cody does take some meds and supplements twice a day. We love both like family and they go most places around town with us and also many times travel with us.

As an aside, we have a second home in San Diego and travel there often on weekends. If you are local to Tucson, perhaps future weekends may also be of interest.
