The small 200 year old stone and post and beam house is located in South West France 27 kms South of Auch, capital of the Gers and home of famous mousquetaire d'Artagnan and 1 hr South West from Toulouse, home of Airbus. Tarbes/Lourdes airport is 1.5 hrs away. Spain is 1.5 hrs by road.
The house is situated on 2000 m2 of fully fenced land in a protected area amongst agricultural land. It is secluded but not isolated. The village is some 500 m away.
There are no services in the village. All services such as most shopping requirements, restaurants, cafes, bars, hardware, doctors, pharmacies.....are available within an 8 km range. The main hospital is located in Auch.
A car/own transport is essential.
The house comprises of a living/lounge area with an open fire chimney, 2 bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom, a new modern kitchen, a laundry/cellar and a covered terrace facing East with views of the valley known as the valley of the orchids. Heating and cooling is assured by a modern split aircon system. The fire place is used to supplement heating when very cold, which is not often, but more to enjoy an open fire in the evening. Connection to the internet is excellent.
Access to the house is by an all weather sealed road, and there is ample parking on the property
There are no animals/pets to take care of.
All equipment such as garden tools and lawn mower are on site.
