We are looking for a house sitter in February who can take care of our home and our sweet, nine-year-old dog. We require a responsible person or couple who loves being around a dog, as her care is our primary concern. She needs to be walked at least twice per day and has three meals. She has plenty of energy and she's a lot of fun (!), so feel free to bring her on hikes or any other activity you may have planned. Our dog is a lover and very much enjoys the company of others and does not wish to be left alone for the majority of the day.
The house is a charming bungalow in the Sloans Lake neighborhood, with 2 proper bedrooms and 2 baths. We are a 5-10 minute walk from the shops and restaurants of Highlands Square (centered at Lowell and 32nd) and are within walking distance of Sloans Lake Park. Downtown is a quick Uber/bus/bike ride away.
We would prefer to meet interested parties in advance, if possible, and we've arranged for "buffer days" on either end of our trip to allow some overlap. Also, please be prepared to provide references about other house sitting exerience, or at least an profile or the like.
No smoking or parties inside the house. Any additional guests must be approved in advance.
