Our 2 nice kitties need to be cared for two weeks this summer starting/arriving Sat. June 13 - and leaving Sun. June 28. Must like cats and be willing to open cans of cat food & scoop the litter box every day. And if you can give them petting and play with them that would be nice. They are young cats with no health issues & not mean.
Our townhouse is centrally located and walkable to many of DC's monuments and all the Smithsonian museums & national mall, the Capitol, SW Waterfront Wharf & fish market, the National Stadium/baseball (go Nats!), and other touristy spots. Most of these attractions are a short walk from our home.
The SW Waterfront is DC's hidden gem, not well known but still in the city main area and walkable to many tourist attractions. Enjoy a short walk to the SW waterfront the Wharf, a massive development where you can kayak, get some food and enjoy the sunset. Our area is completely safe to walk around, taxi will take you to our home without any problem, or you can just walk. We are cloes to three different metro stops: Federal Center SW (blue/orange/silver line, 8 minutes walk) or SW Waterfront (green line, 8-10 minutes walk), also walkable from L'Enfant Metro (about 15 minutes walk). Why stay further away when you can be steps away from the capitol! The closest airport is DCA (10 minutes taxi ride) or IAD (5A bus conveniently walkable at L'Enfant Plaza).
Our townhouse is a spacious two bedroom with lots of natural sunlight. On the top floor, there's a sunny, quiet balcony where you can soak up the morning sun (& where you can see the Capitol if you lean your head far enough out). You will be staying iether in our master bedroom which has a private bathroom or else the guest bedroom with its own bathroom. We'll provide you clean sheets, towels. Feel free to use the kitchen & living room, fast internet access & laundry. There's also reserved parking if needed (for small fee if you need).
